Q: What does this do?
A: Enables a whole slew of control features to Windows 7
Q: is it dangerous?
A: So far no adverse effects have been reported from enabling the feature. But it's Microsoft, so anything is possible.
- Create a new folder in your C: directory and name it:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
- That's it.
Once created, the folder's icon will change to resemble a control panel, and will contain dozens of control options.
- Note This trick is also said to work in Windows Vista, although some have warned that although it works fine in 32-bit versions of Vista, it can cause 64-bit versions of that operating system to crash.
